Contacting the pastor:
In dire emergencies (death, hospitalization, etc.) you can call the pastor at any time, day or night. For non-emergencies, please follow these guidelines:

Monday is Pastor George’s day off. His hands are probably in clay making pottery, so please don’t call (it makes the phone really messy). Friday he works on his sermon, so try not to call unless it involves the upcoming Sunday services.

Office hours for appointments and calls are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8-4, and at other times as necessary. For pastoral calls please try to call during office hours. Basically just be thoughtful and he’ll last longer!

Non-pastoral calls to the family at home for family and friends are OK at other times.

Vestry meetings are usually at 7:30 p.m., on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Call for location. They are always open to everyone. The vestry manages the funding of the various ministries of the church, cares for its facilities, and gives counsel to the pastor.

Resurrection works because we all care about the church facilities, and about each other. We have occasional work days at the church when a lot of folks pitch in together and get a lot done. It’s always fun.
